Rich River Party Hire - Hire Policy
Hire conditions are stated in full on the hire contract and should be read carefully before signing.
Payment and/or signature for hire equipment indicates acceptance of our hire conditions.
A refundable bond (minimum $50) is payable by the hirer on all equipment hired from Rich River Party Hire.
The bond will be refunded in full when hire equipment is returned, less any breakages, shortages, damages, cleaning, delivery or late fees (+ GST) as per our hire conditions.
A deposit is payable to confirm your hire booking. Deposits will be refunded if sufficient notice of cancellation is given to re-book equipment.
Cancellations less than one week prior to the function date will usually result in forfeiture of deposit.
Exceptions may be made on compassionate grounds. Hirers who elect to pay by credit card will not be charged a bond, however their credit card details will be retained until equipment is returned to Rich River Party Hire.
The credit card will be debited if the hirer does not pay damages, shortages, cleaning, late fees or any other charges when equipment is returned or picked up.
All equipment is carefully checked when packed/delivered. Shortages, damages or malfunctions must be reported prior to the hire date, as claims for refund/replacement will not be accepted after the hire date.
It is the hirer's responsibility to check and count the hire equipment prior to and at the completion of their function.
It is the hirer's responsibility to ensure he/she understands their obligations under the Hire Contract and complies with them.
Rich River Party Hire staff will inform customers of the main hire conditions at the time of booking, but final responsibility always rests with the hirer.
